Overview of the resources available to support the winter vaccines programme

Viruses like flu and COVID-19 spread more easily during the colder months when we spend more time indoor with others. That’s why those most at risk of getting seriously ill are being offered the flu and COVID-19 vaccines. It’s important to encourage those who are eligible to take up the offer of vaccination to get the best protection this winter.

Public Health Scotland has developed a wide range of resources to help you promote the winter vaccines programme. Below is an overview of the resources that are currently available to support the winter vaccination programme.

Informed consent leaflets

Informed consent leaflets for both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available in a range languages and formats including Audio, Large Print, BSL and Easy Read to support accessibility and inclusion.

Professional resources
Information to support health professionals including an eligibility infographic ,a pregnancy flu briefing and COVID-19 health professionals briefing are available on the Public Health Scotland website. 

Social media assets

A range of social media assets and captions have been developed to support the Flu Hits Harder campaign. You can view and download all the campaign toolkits via the PHS Marketing Resource Centre. Social media assets are updated regularly throughout the campaign, so please keep an eye out more new resources being added.
