Child flu vaccine: help beat flu with a wee scoosh - updated toolkit

In Scotland, children aged 2 to 5 who are not yet at school, and all primary and secondary school pupils, are offered the free nasal (nose) spray flu vaccine.

Public Health Scotland is running the ‘Help beat flu with a wee scoosh’ campaign to highlight the nasal spray as a safe and easy way for children and young people to get protected against flu. The campaign launched across radio, digital display and paid social media on 7th September and will run throughout the flu season.

We’ve refreshed our suite of static and video campaign assets to include new key messages and suggested captions for you to share across your own social media channels. The campaign toolkit and materials can be accessed here. Please feed these into your planned activity regularly using the hashtag #WeeScoosh. Using the hashtag is important as it allows us to monitor usage and helps to inform future campaigns.

The toolkit also includes digital banners and suggested copy for email, school app notifications and text messages.

Please feel free to share these resources with any relevant channels or networks.
