COVID-19 Spring Vaccine: Social Media Toolkit

Everyone who’s eligible will now start to receive their COVID-19 spring vaccine invitation, as their level of protection may have faded since their last dose.

COVID-19 is more serious in older adults and in people with certain health conditions. For these reasons, a spring dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is being offered to:

  • residents in care homes for older adults
  • adults aged 75 years and over on 30 June 2024 (i.e. born on or before 30 June 1949)
  • people aged 6 months and over (by 31 March 2024) with a weakened immune system.

To help raise awareness of the spring programme and encourage those eligible to get vaccinated, Public Health Scotland has created a social media toolkit with assets and captions to share on your social media channels. An email signature to raise awareness of the programme is also available.

All resources are can be downloaded on the PHS Marketing Resource Centre.

Please regularly feed these social media assets into your planned activity using the hashtag #SpringVaccine. Using the campaign hashtag is important as it allows us to monitor usage, which informs future campaigns.
