World Immunisation Week 2024
World Immunisation Week (WIW) is taking place 24–30 April 2024. This is a good opportunity to build public trust in the value of all vaccines and help build long-term support for immunisation.
This year’s theme is all about celebrating 50 years of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI). The World Health Organization (WHO) is working with partners to highlight the collective action needed to protect people from vaccine-preventable diseases through the shared global campaign Humanly Possible.
To support WIW, Public Health Scotland has created a social media toolkit with assets and captions to share on your social media channels, along with newsletter and website copy.
All resources can be downloaded on the PHS Marketing Resource Centre.
Please note, the content within this toolkit is embargoed until Wednesday 24 April 2024. We ask you do not post/share any of this content before then.
Please regularly feed these social media assets into your planned activity throughout the week, using the hashtag #WIW24 and #HumanlyPossible. Using the campaign hashtag is important as it allows us to monitor usage, which informs future campaigns.
Visit the WHO website to find additional resources for WIW 2024.
Your support is much appreciated.
