RSV Social Media Toolkit
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common respiratory virus that generally causes mild illness with cold-like symptoms. Most cases recover after two to three weeks of illness, but RSV can cause severe illness leading to complications and hospitalisation especially for newborns and infants. Currently, rates of RSV are highest in children under 1 year of age.
Public Health Scotland (PHS) has created a social media toolkit to help raise awareness about the symptoms of RSV and the vaccine that now offers protection. All resources can be downloaded on the PHS Marketing Resource Centre.
Please feed these assets into your planned social media activity. Remember to use the hashtag #RSVScot as this allows us to monitor usage, which informs future campaigns.
Please feel free to share these resources with any relevant channels or networks.
