Anchors progression framework launch
Public Health Scotland's Fairer, Healthier Economies Service is pleased to launch the Anchors progression framework.
Anchor institutions, including NHS Boards, local authorities, colleges, universities and other large employers, play an important role in improving health and reducing inequalities through the decisions they make every day about employment, procurement, assets and partnerships.
The Anchors progression framework is a practical self-assessment tool that helps organisations assess their current activity, identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen their contribution to healthier, fairer communities.
Communications toolkit
To support awareness and promotion of the framework, we've developed a communications toolkit containing:
- Social media assets and suggested copy
- A briefing paper providing an overview of the Framework and its benefits
- A short engagement presentation to support wider awareness and discussion within organisations
- Suggested newsletter copy
- Editable Word and PowerPoint templates for organisations wishing to develop their own materials
How can you help?
We encourage communications colleagues to help raise awareness of the Anchors Progression Framework across their networks and organisations.
You may wish to share the social media assets, promote the Framework internally, or connect colleagues working in workforce, procurement, estates, planning, sustainability, finance, public health and partnership roles with the resources available.
